Configuring PLM XML export

It can take hours to export large structures using PLM XML export. You can improve the performance of these jobs by setting the PLMXML_Pre_Expand_BOP_Rule_Name preference to the PreExpandProcess closure rule. This feature works by pre-expanding the process structure by closure rule prior to PLM XML traversal. The pre-expansion performs bulk loading of BOM lines, reducing the number of calls to the Oracle server. The closure rule can be customized for maximum performance. The reduction in Oracle calls reduces the load on the rest of the system that, in turn, speeds up concurrent jobs and increases the capacity of the system to run more jobs simultaneously without sacrificing performance.
