Edit a process partition

Procedure

Load the top-level item of the generic BOP or product BOP structure.
If appropriate, modify the contents of the partitions by doing one or more of the following:

Add a new process by selecting the partition and choosing File→New→New Process or clicking the Create a New Process button on the toolbar.

Clone processes and operations by right-clicking the object and choosing Paste Duplicate in another generic BOP or product BOP, and then pasting the copy into a partition.

Add new partitions by selecting the existing partition and choosing File→New→New Partition or click the Create a New Partition button on the toolbar.

Use Paste duplicate to clone processes and partitions from one partition to another.

Remove an object from a partition by selecting the object and choosing Edit→Remove.

Note You cannot copy or move a process or operation from a process structure that is not a generic BOP or a product BOP. The Paste commands are unavailable when you try to copy a partition. You cannot paste a copy of a partition because this action creates a new occurrence of an existing revision. This results in sharing of the revision, which is inappropriate for partitions. You can cut and paste partitions. You can only add partitions or processes to a partition, not other objects. You cannot create a process or an operation from a template if you are working in a product BOP or a generic BOP.
