View variant formula definitions for children of a released parent

You can review variant formula definitions for children of a released parent object in the BOM Alignment page.

Note

You cannot edit the variant formula for child objects of a released parent. You must revise the parent object before you can edit the variant formula.

Procedure

1. If you have not done so already search for and open a work package and navigate to the BOM Alignment page.

2. In the MBOM table expand the assembly, select the child objects you want to review, and then click Manage > Open Variant Formula .
   Easy Plan opens the Variant Formula dialog box.

3. Review the variant formula definitions for the selected objects.

                Tip 
                    If you try to edit a variant formula, Easy Plan displays an error message
                        and does not allow you to change it.
