Time studies for process resources

You can create time studies to optimize process resource utilization with current production rates. You can then select the study that best fits your needs and publish it to your plant bill of process (BOP).

Time studies for process resources provide flexibility to define optional plans while you analyze utilization, which allows you to:

• Evaluate optional process plans for selected process resources in the plant BOP.

• Use process resources that belong to different process lines or areas.

• Consider product variants and up-to-date production program rates to analyze process resource utilization.

If a time study suggests a better plan you can publish that study, which overwrites your existing plant BOP.
