Organize studies for Study Manager use

If you have many small studies in a collaboration context (CC) tree, the tree can become difficult to manage. To better organize your studies into smaller trees, you can create new CC trees that use a unique study structure context. If your administrator has enabled Study Manager, you can launch Study Manager from this type of tree.

Procedure

  1. Do one of the following:

Open the CC that contains the studies and related structures to be organized.

Create a new CC, open it, and create the isolated or shared studies you want to add to it.

  1. Select any line in the CC and choose File→Collaboration Context→Save as New Collaboration Context.

  2. In the Save as New Collaboration Context dialog box, in the Name text box, type a name for your study collection.

  3. In the Structures list box, clear the check boxes next to any structures you do not want to include in your study collection.

  4. In the Structures list box, select each study, and from the Structure Type list, select Study Structure Context.

  5. Select the Open On Create check box and click Save.

The CC is created and opens.
