Resolve part assignments at a scheduled time

If you have many logical assignments to resolve, you can schedule these to take place at a later time, for example, in the evening or on a weekend. You can schedule the task to take place once or multiple times, for the entire structure or only for specific levels of the structure.

Procedure

Choose Tools→Logical Assignment→Schedule Part Assignments.
In the Schedule Parts Assignments dialog box, select the top level or one or more lower level lines in the product BOP for which you want to resolve the assignments, and click to add the lines to the Scope Objects box.
Select Resolve descendants if you want Teamcenter to resolve lines lower down in the structure. If you do not select this, only the assignments on the lines added to the Scope Objects box are resolved.
Select the product structure whose parts will be used for the assignments.

Schedule the time you want the structure to be resolved.

You can schedule a recurrence pattern to have the structure resolved regularly.
