Assigning operations to a process resource

You can assign operations to a process resource such as a worker, fixture, or robot, on both the Process Planning page and the Work Instructions Authoring page.

In this example, on the Process Planning page, the Process panel shows two process resources, Operator1 and Operator2, who are assigned to a station. Two operations are associated with Operator1, while Operator2 is currently unassociated with any operations.

On the Work Instructions Authoring page, the Process panel shows the same structure. Here, the operation is a node in the Editor panel, where you can add instructions to the operator using all standard editing tools.

Note

Process toolbar options such as cut, copy, and paste are not available when you select a process resource in the process tree.
