View unconnected features

Procedure

1. Select a part in the product structure as the starting point of the search.

2. Choose Tools→Auto Feature Part Connector.

Teamcenter opens the Auto Feature Part Connector dialog box that lists all the features found under the selected part.

3. Click the Filter connected rows button in the Manufacturing Features view.

Teamcenter removes all the features that are already connected to at least one part from the list of features.

The following are preferences that affect Auto Feature Part Connector filtering:

• MEAPCEnableTrueShapeFiltering – This preference enables true shape filtering for the Auto Feature Part Connector command. The default value is true.

• MEAPCSearchType – This preference defines the type of the parts that are going to be searched by the Auto Feature Part Connector command. The default is ITEM. This preference can only accept one type at a time. If a different type is desired, you should change the value from ITEM to the relevant type.
