Compare changes in attachments

You cannot propagate changes to attachments, nor can you set a propagation status.

Procedure

1. Select a change that represents a changed attachment. These are listed as Modify Dataset.

Teamcenter displays the name of the attachments before the change and after the change in the Details pane.

2. (Optional) Click Show Attachments to view the Attachments view for the impacted structure.

3. Click each attachment to view its state before and after the change.

To paste added attachments to the impacted line:

Right-click the changed line and choose Open With→Attachments.

Copy the attachment.

Paste the attachment to the impacted line in its Attachments view.

To remove attachments from the impacted line, click Show Attachments and remove the attachment from the impacted line.

To compare the two attachments, open both.

Note You can open only attachments for which the supporting software is installed on your system and for which Teamcenter is configured to open the file type. For example, if you do not have Microsoft Office installed, you cannot open a .pptx attachment.
