Open a duplicate structure

You can open a duplicate of a work structure in a bill of process (BOP) and make changes that do not affect the original structure. This allows you to review changes before you make them.

Procedure

1. Search for and open an existing work package and then navigate to the preferred page.

2. Select a process from the BOP panel or from the Assembly panel and click View Other Configuration .

The entire work package is duplicated and opens in a new tab. Toolbar commands are hidden in read-only mode.

3. In the new tab select an item, make any changes, and save the configuration.

The changes made in this window do not affect the original work structure and you can move back and forth between the two views to easily compare your structures. Note The administrator can delete the duplicated work packages.
