Validate precedence constraints

You can verify that data in your process plan complies with existing precedence constraints. For example, when you import new data into a process plan, you can validate that it complies with your precedence constraints.

Prerequisites

  • You must configure Easy Plan to use precedence constraints.

  • You must define precedence constraints for your data.

Procedure

  1. If you have not already done so, search for and open a work package, and then navigate to the Process Planning page.

  2. Select an operation and click ... → Check Precedence Constraints.
Easy Plan checks the precedence constraints and provides a list of all data that violates those constraints.

  3. Resolve any data that violates the precedence constraints. If Easy Plan detects a violation, you can adjust the sequence of operations to comply with the constraints. For example, you can reassign processes to different stations or reorder operations within a station.
