Remove part assignment

Procedure

Right-click a process or operation, and then choose Open with→Assignments.Teamcenter displays the Assignments view containing the logical assignments of the currently selected process or operation.
Right-click and choose Remove or click the Remove button .

If you select one or more logical assignments, the system removes the logical designators and all parts that are currently resolved to them.

If you select a part that is resolved to the logical designator, the system removes those parts only from the process or operation. This does not prevent the system displaying the same parts when you next resolve assignments.

If you select parts that are directly assigned to a process or operation, the system removes those parts from the process or operation.

If you select parts that have mixed assignments (that is, some have logical designators while others have direct assignments), the system removes all parts.

Note Removing a resolved assignment does not prevent the system reassigning it next time you resolve the same logical assignment.
