Generate line balancing reports

You can create reports for the line balancing data in Excel format. These reports are attached to the scope of the view from which the report is launched. You can see these datasets in the Attachments view.

Note

Teamcenter manufacturing process management does not roll-up the number of workers for a station/line/... in the OOTB reports. If needed, you can create a custom report to show the total number of workers.

Procedure

  1. From the view menu, choose Reports and the type of report you want to open.

Report

Opens from the Line Balancing Chart view:

Constraints Violation Check Report

This report has three sections.

The Check Details section listing all constraint violations in a plant BOP.

The Constraints Definition section listing all defined constraints.

The Process Area Information section listing all stations.

Balancing Overview Report

This report shows data for all stations of the current scope of the current Line Balancing Chart view such as:

Capacity

Work content

Allocated time

Time remaining

Number of workers

Category

Balancing Line Detail Report

This report shows data for all stations of the current scope of the current Line Balancing Chart view, but also includes details about allocated operations. Process area and operation names are indented in the Name column to reflect the hierarchy under the station.

Opens from the Line Balancing Constraints view:

Constraints Consistency Check Report

This report contains two sections:

The Check Details section lists inconsistencies of the constraints defined in the product BOP.

The Constraints Definition section lists all constraints defined in the product BOP.

  1. Accept the default name for the report or type a new name and click OK.
