View a dynamic in-process assembly

Procedure

Open the Graphics view on the process structure or isolated study containing the dynamic in-process assembly (DIPA).
Select the DIPA that you want to view.

Because the DIPA is based on the lightweight BOM technology, Teamcenter only loads the parts into the viewer as required.

(Optional) Reposition the DIPA.

Teamcenter saves the absolute transformation matrix on the DIPA node. If you unload and reload the process structure, Teamcenter remembers the changes in the absolute transformation matrix. When you recreate the DIPA, it is once again displayed in the new position.
