Customize Electronic Work Instructions preferences

Configuring data collections

  • EWI_ExecutionEnabled - Controls whether execution features (data collection, serial and lot numbers, add attachments, and step statuses) are enabled in the Electronic Work Instructions application. Valid values are true and false (default).

  • EWI_PartIsLotProperty - The name of the runtime property of a part’s BOMLine that determines if it requires a lot number. A valid value is any runtime property that returns a boolean value. The default is ewi0IsLot.

  • EWI_PartIsSerializedProperty - The name of the runtime property of a part’s BOMLine that determines if it requires a lot number. A valid value is any runtime property that returns a boolean value. The default is ewi0IsSerialized.

  • EWI_StepExecutionStatusCompleteIndex - Defines the indices of status values within the ewi0StepExecutionStatus LOV, starting at 0, that designate steps as completed in Electronic Work Instructions. You can add multiple values. The default is 2. Example If the ewi0StepExecutionStatus LOV contains these values: Pending In Work Complete Passed Failed And the EWI_StepExecutionStatusCompleteIndex contains these values: 2,3 Then Complete and Passed statuses are treated as finished.

  • EWI_ToolIsLotProperty - The name of the runtime property of a tool’s BOMLine that determines if it requires a lot number. A valid value is any runtime property that returns a boolean value. The default is ewi0IsLot.

  • EWI_ToolIsSerializedProperty - The name of the runtime property of a tool’s BOMLine that determines if it requires a serial number. A valid value is any runtime property that returns a boolean value. The default is ewi0IsSerialized.
