Configuring the IDIC mechanism when using shared assemblies

Some engineering bills of material (EBOMs) contain shared assemblies. The same assembly is used multiple times in the EBOM but only one is configured in and assigned to the manufacturing BOM (MBOM). If you set the MEIDGenerationInSharedAssembly preference to true, at the time of assignment, Teamcenter searches the EBOM for all other visible (configured in by revision rule or any of the Show Unconfigured... buttons) instances of the same assembly and stamps them with the same IDIC.
