Create standard text in Easy Plan

You can create, edit, and use standard text directly in Easy Plan, without navigating to Teamcenter Rich Client.

This feature streamlines the process and enhances work instruction authoring.

Procedure

1. On the Easy Plan home page, select the tile New STX Library.

2. Using the New STX Library dialog box, set up the hierarchical structure for standard text, the same way you would do so in the Teamcenter Rich Client. The universal dashboard for creating standard text library opens.

3. To create a library and folders, click Add.

4. To open the standard text editor, select an element.

5. In the STX Editor tab, click Edit, then add and format the standard text. If required, insert images and apply various formatting options. After editing and formatting, save the standard text.

6. To incorporate the created standard text into work instructions, navigate to the Work Instructions Authoring page, and select the operation to which you added work instructions. The authored instructions are propagated according to the specified format, allowing users to view this common set of work instructions from the Product BOP across different process stations.
