Check constraint consistency

After defining precedence constraints in the Line Balancing Constraints view, you can check to see if there are any errors in the constraints.

Procedure

1. In the Line Balancing Constraints view, choose Consistency Check from the view menu.Teamcenter displays the Constraints Consistency view listing any inconsistencies occurring in all the constraints defined for a product BOP. In addition, Teamcenter highlights the problematic constraints in red in the Line Balancing Constraints view.

2. In the Constraints Consistency view, select a violation to see the list of participating operations in the lower section of the view.

3. (Optional) Turn off the constraint highlighting in the Line Balancing Constraints view by choosing Highlight Check Result→No Highlight in the view menu.

Tip You can highlight the check results any time, as long as the corresponding result view is not closed.

If the PSM_Enable_Product_Configurator preference is set to true OR the configurator context is attached to the ProductBOP structure, the ProductBOP→Open With→Line Balancing Constraints option is not available in the rich client.
