Add a study from Study Manager

While you can create an isolated or shared study from a linked process structure, you can also create either study type from Study Manager itself if your administrator has enabled Study Manager.

Procedure

  1. In Study Manager, click Create Study .

  2. In the Create Study dialog box, select Isolated Study or Shared Study and click Next.

  3. Type a name and optional description and click Create.

Results

The new study opens in its own tab and appears at the bottom of the collaboration context tree, but is not yet part of that tree. It can be seen in Study Manager when you click the top line of the collaboration context, but you need to add processes or operations from the structures (for example, processes from a Process structure) to make the new study relevant to a collaboration context tree. Similarly, you need to add/hide studies in a collaboration context tree or organize studies into multiple collaboration context trees for viewing in Study Manager.
