Author a time study

After you create a time study, you can author and configure it much like you would a process plan.

Procedure

  1. If you have not done so already, search for and open a work package, and then navigate to the Process Planning page.

  2. In the Process panel select the process resource for which you want to author and configure a study and click Show Time Studies. Easy Plan opens the Time Studies panel and displays the time studies that contain the selected process resource.

  3. In the Time Studies panel select the time study you want to author.

  4. Click the study name, then click More and Time Study.
    Easy Plan opens the Time Study page and loads the study that you selected.

  5. Perform one or more of the following actions to author and configure your time study.
    Tip Access the Time Management panel before you work with activities in Easy Plan.


    In the Time Study panel select a process resource, then click Add > Add Operation and complete the required fields in the Add Operation dialog box. In the Time Study panel click the Product Variant drop-down to set a variant for the study. In the Time Study panel define a variant formula for an operation. In the Time Management panel create a new time management activity. In the Time Management panel, create a time activity from an MTM data card. In the Time Study panel manage occurrence effecitivities on process resources.
