Generate reports for processes or operations
While you are authoring process planning or work instructions, you can generate reports for processes or operations. These reports give you information about security, ergonomic risks, quality control, cycle time, and other such details, depending on your work package and configuration.
You can generate a wide variety of reports based on object selections, including a process, operation, or compound operation, station, area, or line. You can generate these reports in the background.
Note that the reports are available for process planning or line balancing stages.
Procedure
If you have not done so already, search for and open an existing work package and navigate to the Process Planning or Work Instructions Authoring page.
On the Process tab, select the object you want.
To generate a Select
Material report Process station, area, line, or process.
Operation report Operation, process, compound operation, or execution step.
Station report Process station, process area, or process line.
Work instructions report Operation, process, or station.In the Process toolbar, select ... → Reports.
In the Create Report dialog box, select the type of report you want to generate.
(Optional) Select the Create in background check box.
Click Create.
Results
Based on your selections, the report is generated. You receive a notification after the report is generated successfully.
